The Naches Heights Vineyard and Winery, perched above the beautiful Naches Valley, has been in the Cline family for 44 years. Being one of Washington State's highest elevated vineyards at 1800 ft, NHV combines its elevation with rich volcanic soil, to create unique growing conditions for wine grapes. Barbara and Phil Cline currently produce five grape varietals: Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Tempranillo and Syrah. The NHV Syrah won a gold medal at the Seattle Wine Awards last year and was recently awarded a Double Gold at the Wine Press Northwest Platinum judging.

During 2010, Scatter Creek Winery won the Taster's Choice award at last fall's Road to Paradise Wine Tasting as well as awards at the "Capital Food & Wine Festival" in March and the Taster's Choice award at the "Taste of the Market", in Olympia. Scatter Creek Winery also sells wine gifts and can create individualized labels according to the purchasers' requirements.

Small Lot CO-OP
Small Lot Co-Op supports small lot wineries in Washington State, producing less than 2,500 cases of wine a year and is dedicated to bringing these premium products to everyone. The Small Lot Co-Op vintners use grapes grown on either side of the Mountain to create elegant wines with perfect balance and intriguing complexity.

Stina's Cellars opened its intimate winery in Tacoma in 2005, began operating commercially in 2006 and produces about 1200 cases a year. Oak barrels and artwork create ambience in its cozy tasting room. Stina's Cellars' owner and vintner, Perry Preston, has been making wine and winning awards since 1990. Today, he uses carefully selected grapes from Eastern and Western Washington for his creations. Recently, Stina's Cellars joined other Pierce County businesses in The World Trade Center Tacoma's Fuzhou, China trade project.

Trillium Creek Winery
The 15-acre Trillium Creek Winery on the Key Peninsula includes a vineyard, a tasting room and a winery. Owners Claude and Claudia Gahard licensed the business in 2006 after 28 years of creating wines as a hobby. Claude, a retired commercial pilot, grew up in France and likes drier wines. Claudia likes the sweeter wines. They make both types and buy grapes that cannot grow in the Puget Sound climate from the Paul Burgess Vineyards in the Columbia River Valley. Using old-world techniques, they produce wines without chemical or biological enhancements that are exceptionally low in sulfites.

Wilridge Winery is the oldest continuously operated winery in Seattle. Founded in 1988 by husband and wife duo, Paul Beveridge and Lysle Wilhelmi. From the beginning, Wilridge's goal has been to find the best vineyard sites in Washington State and hand make wines that bring out the unique characteristics of each vineyard. In 2007, Paul and Lysle planted their own estate vineyard on Naches Heights near Yakima, and released their first estate wines in 2010. Wilridge now produces wines from their own vineyard and continues to produce wines from other great wine growing regions of Washington State. Receiving 91 points from the Wine Advocate, Robert Parker noted: "Succulent fruit, plenty of spice, and impeccable balance make for a classy red blend."
