Hop aboard the Bunny Express at the Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad depot in Elbe on April 19. Riders will be whisked away on a vintage
steam engine through the forest and foothills south of Mt. Rainier. Spot the
Easter Bunny along the way to Mineral where kids will have a chance to search
for eggs filled with treats. The Bunny
Express fills up fast, so hop to it and reserve tickets early. And

Catch a predawn ride up to Crystal Mountain Resort’s summit for the Sunrise Easter Service
this April 20. Watch the beauty unfold during this inter-denominational observance. The ticket windows will be open between 5:25 a.m.
and 5:45 a.m. and participants upload on to the Mt. Rainier Gondola between
5:30 a.m. and 5:50 a.m. sharp. Regular
scenic or ski lift + gondola rates apply and no reservations are required. Skiing
and riding down will have to wait until the mountain opens during its regular
hours. Later that day, the Easter Bunny
will be shredding up the slopes with pockets full of candy.
The Alpine Inn at
Crystal Mountain will host its annual Easter brunch followed by a snow-covered
Easter egg hunt starting at 12:30 p.m. Children
10 and younger are welcome to participate in the hunt. Parents are asked to bring 12 candy-filled
eggs to the Alpine Inn by 11 a.m.
April 19 and 20 are free admission days at Mt. Rainier National Park, so it is the perfect time to visit! The National Park Inn is serving Easter Brunch 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Easter Sunday. Buffet includes ham, traditional eggs Benedict, potato scramble, house-made biscuits and gravy, fruits, pastries and more. The price is $17.95 for adults and $12.95 for children. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 360-569-2411.
White Pass Ski Area has an Easter egg hunt for kids 12 and younger. Meet at 11 a.m. behind the buildings at High Camp. For more information, visit www.skiwhitepass.com.
