Easter Memories Made on the Mountain

Make this Easter weekend with friends and family a relaxing, easy, memorable one. From mountain top sunrise services and train rides to mouth-watering Easter menus, Mt. Rainier is packed with options for celebration and good times. Come discover these unique experiences and no dishes when the fun is over! Here are the highlights happening around the mountain:

Easter Sunrise Service & Brunch at Crystal Mountain, April 4th, 5 to 7am

Skiers and snowboarders with lift tickets as well as non-ticketed non-skiers can take a series of chairlifts predawn to the Summit House, warm up and then head back outside to celebrate Easter morning with an inspiring, non-denominational slope-side service, while the sun rises over the mountain top. After the service, have a light breakfast with family and newfound friends at The Summit House, then ski or ride the chairlift back down the mountain for a scrumptious Sunday Brunch at the Alpine Inn. The service is free to all; chairlift rides are $5 for foot passengers.

Egg Hunt & Skiing with the Easter Bunny at Crystal Mountain, April 4th

Who would have guessed it? The Easter Bunny is a ski fanatic! Spot him on the slopes of Crystal Mountain with pockets full of candy for the kids. Children will have a great time searching for hidden eggs at the Alpine Inn’s annual Easter egg hunt starting at 12 noon.

Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad’s Bunny Express, April 3rd

The Easter Bunny is somewhere in Mineral! Bring the family out for a good 'ole' fashion egg hunt and train ride aboard the Bunny Express. Enjoy a fun-filled ride on a historic steam locomotive to a private picnic area on Mineral Lake. The Easter Bunny should be somewhere in the area! The kids will have fun finding the plastic eggs filled with treats and gifts. The Bunny Express fills up fast, so make your reservations early. Don't forget your camera and a basket for gathering eggs!

Easter Brunch at the National Park Inn, April 4th, 12 Noon to 7pm

Dig into a delicious spread of holiday specialties at the National Park Inn’s eat-to-your-heart's content buffet featuring herb roasted turkey, hand carved bone in ham, a bountiful array of soups and salads, plenty of side dishes and a delicious selection of desserts. Located in the heart of Mt. Rainier National Park, make this buffet part of a memorable day at the mountain.
