Mt. Rainier Festival Showcases Artisanal Washington Wines and Microbrews

EXPERIENCE A WINE AND BREW FESTIVAL LIKE NO OTHER
'ON THE ROAD TO PARADISE'

Festival Showcases Hard-to-Find Artisanal Washington Wines and Microbrews

Calling all wine and microbrew enthusiasts! You are invited you to experience fantastic wines and microbrews at the Mount Rainier Visitor Association's 4th Annual Fall 'Road to Paradise' Wine and Brew Festival, Saturday, November 2, from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. pm at the Lion's Grand Tasting Room in Ashford, Washington, at the base of Mt. Rainier. Unlike many of the large venues that feature mass-produced, large-scale wineries, our popular event showcases hard-to-find artisanal wines and microbrews from small Washington state producers.

Fall's confirmed line-up of award-winning participants include:

Wineries

Brewery

Cidery

Creamery

Tickets can be purchased online at www.road-to-paradise.com. Discounted tickets are available for advance purchase through October 31 for $20. Admission includes a souvenir wine glass, 10 tasting tickets and live entertainment. Additional tasting tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each. After October 31, tickets are $25 and can be purchased either online or onsite.

For those looking to extend their visit, hospitality awaits at area hotels, spas, bed and breakfasts, cabins, and vacation rentals. Visitors will receive one complimentary event ticket for lodging booked Nov. 1-2, 2013, in Ashford, Elbe, Longmire or Mineral.
